Abstract

Throughout its history, Philosophy for Children has had a coaching component The assumption has been that, for anyone concerned with the implementation of the program with children, there will have been a history of practice and hence a history of various coaching encounters. Moreover, it has been assumed that practice and continual coaching must be simultaneous with any theoretical exposure.
