Abstract
How can IR managers encourage faculty to deposit their scholarly works into the university’s institutional repository (IR)? This is a common question asked by IR managers when building, promoting, and populating an IR at their institution. Key advantages to having an IR include offering faculty more opportunities to share their research by increasing visibility and access to their scholarship and promoting the scholarly activities at an institution as a whole.
