Abstract

In this webinar presented to the “P4C Thursdays” discussion group and other members of the global philosophy for children community, IAPC Director Maughn Rollins Gregory discusses the theory behind the IAPC P-12 philosophy curriculum and the Thinking in Stories project reviewing philosophy in children's literature. He describes IAPC research resources including Thinking: The Journal of Philosophy for Children, doctoral dissertations in Pedagogy and Philosophy from Montclair State University, Collected Papers of IAPC faculty and fellows, and written and oral histories from the IAPC archive. Gregory provides a virtual tour of the IAPC Digital Commons where these resources can be downloaded without cost. He also introduces the PhilPapers database of philosophy for children academic publications and the Special Collection of Philosophy for Children Publications at Montclair's Sprague Library.
