Abstract
This paper introduces a four-dimension (4D) Kelly-Lochbaum junction-based digital filter, whose classical one-dimension (1D) configuration has been extensively used in speech signal processing. The proposed 4D circuit realization uses a minimum number of delay elements. As a result, the dimension of the state-vector, of the derived 4D state-space model, is minimal and its 4D transfer function has the all-pass property which is evident from a provided first-order example.
