Abstract
It is estimated that every 72 seconds, someone in America develops Alzheimer's disease. With this trend and if no cure find, experts predict by mid-century every 33 second, one American will develops Alzheimer's disease. One of the specific features of Alzheimer's disease is the accumulation of Beta-Amyloid in the brain. Early detection of the Amyloid may prevent or progress of the Alzheimer's disease. In this report, we try to use region growing method to detect the Amyloid in the mice brain MRI.
