Subject Name
Mike Legaspi
Subject Bio
Kuya Mike was born and raised in the Philippines and was mostly raised in San Pedro as a child until he was a teenager. He grew up with his mother's side of the family and both of his parents were overseas already. His family life was spent with his grandparents as well as relatives, since his parents separated when he was young. His hometown was more rural, and much more farming based and he still feels very much like a country boy even after living in the US for over 15 years. He is now in an organization called Migrante, after “graduating” from Anakbayan in 2018 and has organized and led events for both orgs.
