Abstract
Simon is a high school student who is simultaneously learning about political equality and HIV/AIDS. He is confused about the differences between sex, sexuality, and sexual preference, and whether sexuality is really a preference. In discussions with schoolteachers, classmates, friends, and his mum, Simon also thinks about discrimination, hate, and the risks and benefits of hiding one’s identity and “going along with the guys.”
