Aims & Scope

The LASER Journal provides a forum for mathematical, scientific and artistic discussions about the interconnnections between math and art. Papers submitted to the journal should focus on the aesthetics of mathematical patterns in our world, with art being broadly interpreted to include music, the fine arts, performing arts or anything else, provided it is well articulated. Artists, Scientists and Mathematicians are all equally welcome to submit their work. We are also very interested in hearing from educators about the value of such interdisciplinary thinking and its impact on learning. Research articles, case studies and book reviews are acceptable. Students are welcome to co-author papers with their mentors, however we request that the mentors serve as the corresponding authors for such collaborative submissions.
