Julie Ingersoll, PhD is a Professor of Religious Studies at the University of North Florida. Her teaching and writing focuses on the interplay of religion and politics within the Religious Right in the United States. She is a nationally known researcher, writer, and speaker on both the historical roots and contemporary expressions of what is popularly known as Christian Nationalism in America. Her most recent book is titled Building God's Kingdom: Inside the World of Christian Reconstruction (2015) by Oxford University Press.
Mark Clatterbuck, PhD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Religion at Montclair State University. Dr. Clatterbuck teaches and writes about Indigenous Religions, US Christianity, and Religion and Ecology. His forthcoming book is titled Sacred Resistance: Eco-Activism and the Rise of New Spiritual Communities (2025) by Orbis Books.
