Abstract
The article discusses about the challenges being faced by educators in the United Sates and the approaches being made in diversifying the teaching force and to attend to the issues about preparation, recruitment and retention of educational instructors. According to the article, there has been a widening cultural gap on the part of educators and the students in the primary and secondary schools that has become a serious issue in the United States. It is said that the deficit in the number of instructors with different ethnicities has some implications for all the students especially those who belong to different ethnicities
