Abstract

This research presents spatial analysis methods and remote sensing modeling approaches to investigate the potential solar photovoltaic adoption in Atlantic City, New Jersey. This research examines siting potential, digital surface modeling, local solar radiation modeling, and socioeconomic factors that determine success of solar energy adoption. The goal of this work is to provide new insights into policy development that can be used to accomplish the clean energy and climate goals of the State of New Jersey
