Description

This research paper presents a comprehensive study on the development of an autonomous robot equipped with Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) and Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR). The primary objective of the robot is to navigate complex and dynamic environments, specifically focusing on intelligent obstacle avoidance. Humans are not static objects so the main contribution will be a system to avoid humans in a dynamic, shared, and collaborative environment while comparing it to current methods of static collision avoidance.
