Collected Papers of David Kennedy

David Kennedy was a Professor and former Chair of the Department of Educational Foundations at Montclair State University from 1996 until his retirement in 2024, during which time he was also a Faculty Fellow of the Institute for the Advancement of Philosophy for Children. Kennedy taught graduate courses and mentored doctoral dissertations in philosophy for children. He edited the IAPC's Thinking: The Journal of Philosophy for Children from 1998-2010 and was the founder and co-Editor of Childhood and Philosophy, the journal of the International Council for Philosophical Inquiry with Children. Kennedy has been a visiting scholar and directed scores of workshops for teachers and philosophy professors at Montclair and in several other countries, and has conducted numerous philosophy in schools programs.
