Description

Male students of color face major challenges leading to college withdrawal with their stories often remaining untold. In this session, you will hear real stories from two Latino adult men who stopped out and returned to complete their bachelor’s degree as adults - Chris (31) and Martin (66). Retrospective accounts of their educational journeys will be highlighted as well including contributing factors to their decision to step away, motivations to return to finish, and the institutional support that contributed to degree completion.
