Abstract
Moments of joy in the English classroom feel tragically few and far between, often snuck in during pauses in the "real" curricula. This practitioner-oriented piece shares vignettes from our classrooms that illustrate ways in which we--as English teachers--have nurtured moments of joy in of our lessons by centering our and our students' vulnerability.
