Abstract
In response to How can we connect our students to literature in meaningful and relevant ways?, co-authors from Eastern Kentucky University’s English Teaching and MAT programs examine the roles of genre bending, regional, and interdisciplinary texts to challenge perspectives and to cultivate understanding about human relationships in the 21st century.
